OUR TEAM: MEGHAN COUGHLIN

Ms. Coughlin is a paralegal at Bennington Law Firm, LLC, specializing in custody. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Coughlin was a Custody Conciliator in Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas – Family Division, Children’s Court where she worked with thousands of parents involved in custody disputes over the last half decade. As a Court Officer she was able to address the emotional concerns of the parties involved as well as the practical issues and logistical challenges that arise when parents are no longer parenting as part of a married team. Ms. Coughlin realizes that custody orders and thoughtful provisions allow families to plan for the present and futures of their children. She brings this same understanding, care, and expertise to her work with clients at Bennington Law Firm. Knowledgeable in all options of custody litigation, she will work with you to fully explore your options, to craft your plan, and to execute what is needed to achieve your goals.

Ms. Coughlin is a Cum Laude graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a BA in Political Science and minor in Justice, Peace and Conflict Studies. A trained mediator, who has worked in both community and private settings, she uses her extensive work experience in the private sector and Court setting to serve the individual needs of clients as they go through a very stressful and difficult period in their lives. Ms. Coughlin resides with her family on Pittsburgh’s Northside.
